The latest collectible hardcover edition from Walter Carter looks like it will be released mid-September, 2011. Very pricey for a book, but what a gem!

Wow, what an interesting idea: a collection of Guitar sized photo's and accompanying book enclosed in a hard shell Fender/PRS style case. For just under a grand...definitely not for everyone but if you can afford it, it's cool!

As much as I respect Walter and think the book looks terrific, I don't think I can justify buying a book about guitars that costs more than most of my actual guitars…
