Does anybody know what the original Ovation cases looked like for the Ultra Hard Body Series basses and GS guitars? Pictures would be great. I've got a bass and a GS1 but no cases.

I had a GS2 for a little while.
It came with a case that other members said was original.

So this is about what you are looking for, (I'm guessing)
Notice that the bulges for the upper bouts are staggered.

That is an original case

I now own that guitar and the case is the same type as the others I have.

The bass case is the same style just longer.

There were some that had a pinkish colour interior instead of the blue.

Any Strat type or P bass case will fit the GS.

On the other hand getting a case for one of these is a different story.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm taking it that it doesn't say "Ovation" on the outside. Also, do any of you know what kind of Ovation bass fits that "huge, black Ovation Bass Case" on ebay right now? Magnum II or a IV maybe? My II has a tan case.

Sorry I meant "III or a IV".

The "huge case" may be for an Acoustic Bass. I messed with the image a bit and the lower end of the inside of the case looks like it might be for a roundback.
