Location: SoCal | I was looking at a 1687GT on the 'bay and suddenly realized that for the first time, a multi hole Ovation doesn't have a rear hatch. Is that the case for all multi hole O's & A's which have OPPro and similar guitars? |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | At the Roadshow, I was told that new Adami don't have/need hatches.
All the work inside the body is pretty much done before they glue the top on...
Anything else can be done through the preamp hole.
Since the Truss-Rod adjustment is in the headstock, you don't need a hatch.
It was also decided the they sound better without the hatch. |
