I'm not sure about the value, but there's a site www.usedprice.com that might have it listed in their Musical Instruments Blue Book section. They're not a free service though, $3.99 charge per item value lookup. How much is the owner asking for it? Is the case an Ovation hard shell?

There is a 386T Pinnacle on eBay...

That will give you something to compare to in about a day.

Here's one in PA for $260

Value is so subjective, and prices have been so weird lately, that I don't know if these will help.

The one in PA is the same one for sale in the section. He raised the price in the local CL but not the other two ads he has out there.

What are the differences between the 386T and the 3862? 386T isn't listed on the Ovation site.

Here is the info that I have from Blue Book. I hope that it helps you.

Pinnacle Shallow Cutaway (Model 3862)

- similar to Pinnacle, except has single round cutaway, shallow bowl body, mfg. 1991-94.

A Pinnacle Torch Top was also available in 1993 (Model 386T).

Excellent:$500 - 575

Average:$300 - 350

Last MSR was $1,000.

Which would be considered the better guitar:

1992 Pinnacle 386T (MiJ)
or
1995 Standard Balladeer 1861 (USA)
