They tell me that this was the "Entry Level" USO before the Current "Get 'em While You Can" Sale.
This has a satin finish, which feels weird to me. Kinda like raw wood.
No bling whatsoever!
But it seems nice to me.
Still need to change the strings (rusty spots) and maybe lower the action...
But that is because I have become a snob, not cuz my Talent needs it.
It has black mini tuning knobs on it, just the knobs I think.

Whatcha Y'all Think?...

So, TJ said that I get bragging rights for the Price...
I want everyone else's approval on what it looks like! :D

I need a sticker for inside! The poor thing looks nekkid!

OMA,

To be honest, I really do like that hand inlaid rosette; simple, small and just the right amount of accent.

How does it sound?

I really like that guitar, and that's a GREAT preamp in it. Pretty much the same preamp as my folklore

Yeah Damon... My first O was a Korean Balladeer (not Celebrity, not Plywood) and it had an OP24+ on it.
I always liked it better than most others. Even the OP-Pro! ( Blasphemy  )
The action is alittle high at the 12th fret, but I think it has heavy strings on it.
Some time later, when I change the strings, I will decide if it needs any kind of adjusting.
Sitting amongst all the T's and stuff it kinda stands out.
It is pretty bright natural, but I guess it will darken in a Decade or so...

You can get a label from John or Kim.

Iffy... You asked how it sounds...
Tonight I changed the strings and took-out two inclined shims, and put a thin level one back in.
With new strings, this thing sounds nice. And it is pretty loud too.
It has almost no "Soul Marks" on it, but the previous owner chewed-up the saddle.
(I have no idea how it was done, but it looks like it took an effort!)
It is a really nice guitar. I couldn't find any double-sided tape around the house, but next time I change the strings I gotta re-attach that little clip that holds the wires inside the bowl.

But all in all this is a really nice guitar, even if it is the Low Budget model. I am pleased.
If I decide to take a guitar outside, this would be a good one. Not too flashy, and it plugs-in...

(bauerhillboy - I emailed John, but got an automated reply.
Everybody is outta the Mothership until June 16th for spring cleaning)

Methinks we OFC members have a slightly distorted (some may say "fussy") definition of a beach guitar. Not for us the beaten up nylon string reject from a prison guitar class.
