I have a 1968 model 1115 that's in dire need of new pair of 6-on-a-side tuning machines. I bought an aftermarket set from GC but they are a bit too long -- the tuners are just too long for the slot holes.

Can anyone recommend a source for a new set? StewMac doesn't carry them. I'm not looking for original, just functional. Alternatively, would Ovation have them?

Thanks for your help

Mike

Will do. I did some measuring and the spacing I need is 15/16" from center of post to center of post. The new ones are just over 1 inch center to center. Mike

Get a Vintage Guitar Magazine. In there are some guys who specialize in parts. It's a possible source.
