Was visiting a friend that has a used guitar store and he had one hanging behind the counter. He offered to let me try it, but I declined. Kind of a 335 type, two pickups, looked to be in good shape. Probably will be for sale soon. I didn't know if anyone here collected such.

I remember missing the auction at the factory when they sold off all the stuff. (a ton was just thrown away)

The ones mentioned above would come in 4th in a three man race. They'd need a pork chop tied around the neck to get a dog to play with them, They'd have to have a grafic paint job of a fire hydrant before a dog would, well you get the picture.....

Anybody know? The other one that is interesting is the (OK flame me right here, but it's true) Taylor T5. It's like a USA Viper taken to the next level. Ovation should really put some gas into the Viper. Tons of potential there. I imagine with Hamer in house that the lease on the viper is pretty short. Dave

It didn't play as well as the vipers or preachers in my own opinion, but he liked it OK and I guess that's what matters. I think he liked playing something that not many others were playing. He kept the martin till around 94 when he sold it.

It was a great guitar, cool vibe, killer Dimarzzio pickups, split coil switch, versatile rare axe...low production. Brass back cover ones are the earliest and rarest. Although the earlier semi-hollow F series are rarer, they are not the best sounding guitar. Best of luck though in selling yours as they are bringing a good price for the ones in nice condition.
