| Would like to sell my '97' 5777 ES-4 Legend but I am having a hard time finding comparables in order to set a fair price. Can't find any information about this particular model #. Is it because it was a limited production or one of a kind? It has an engleman spruce top, natural mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard & OP-X preamp. No inlays at all just incredible sound. Only guitar that beats it for sound IMO is the 2005 Collector Series which I just purchased. Any of you Ovation experts out there have any information about this model? |

| Interesting that this model was produced for the overseas market because I purchased it new in Madison Wisconsin in 1997. Wonder how they wound up with it.
This guitar has been played alot, enough that I had to level the fretboard & refret recently so the conditon is fair cosmetically but it plays & sounds like new again. I paid $1300 for it new. Would I be out of line to expect $400-$500 considering the engleman spruce top? |

Numerous Ovations made for the overseas market find their way into stores in the USA if the store is an Ovation dealer who sells enough product to get special deals. It may have belonged to the owner or an Ovation rep. |
