Hello from Austin. Thanks to carpel tunnel syndrome in both hands that has taken all the fun out of playing guitar, I'm thinking of selling my first grownup model: a 1123-4 (Artist, Classic, Natural) we bought new in 1972 and has since then been well-loved and gently played. According to the appraiser, it's a relatively rare model and has quite a value on it, but I'm finding that the market for old O classicals is about as rare as the model. (I posted it on eBay and didn't get a single bid.)
Any thoughts or ideas before I donate it to a deserving young student?
Thanks! |

Very sorry to hear about your problem with carpal tunnel syndrome.
If you don't need the money, the "deserving young student" sounds like a great idea.
Of course, someone here may be interested in your guitar. I wouldn't be surprised if you get some emails about it.
Keep on posting. |

It's been awhile so it wouldn't be in the records any more. |

I am glad to find this site. As it happens I have been looking for an ovation classical. Do you have any pictures? Or feel free to drop me a line. |
