I was searching the web for more information and pictures about the Ultra GP and found this:

Ovation copy

quite tempting, but it's not the true one.

I purchased one. I have 2 GPs so I figure, for 649 bucks, why not try another. I'm gonna compare them. I have 1 GP with Super 2's and the other has the Korean pickups. Both sound amazing and surprisingly similar. I actually like the Korean's better. I'm gonna compare the GP Tribute to orginals.

oh I forgot, I asked the guy who's building them and he actually made the pickups so that they were custom wound to the original Super2 specs. He used the same type of wood and everything. But we'll see how good it is.

Hi, I've just bought the Ultra GP tribute by Eastwood. It seems to have a great sound, but I dont have an original Ovation to compare it. You do. Have you found any differences?

thanx

They got the horns wrong but the tailpiece looks nice.

yeppers, the bass horn is a little bit different than the original and the neck is more gibby like than ovation but it plays really fine. the tailpiece is a bad ass copy. it has a very good and loud unplugged sound.

So, Benjamin, how did the GP Tribute compare to your originals?

Finally. Somebody admites that the conception is wrongly made. The horns are wrong. Haven´t got proportion... and it´s a copy... not original. That´s all.
