Joined: May 2005 Posts: 486 Location: North Carolina | - and I know quite a few - someone requests one you don't. Last night it was "Lady". Not John Denver's, not the Little River Band's, but Kenny Rogers'. Damn! No clue on the lyrics other than the first word. I told him my hair wasn't gray enough yet, but I was working on it. I asked him if he were a tourist or a local (if it's a local, I'll learn it) He was a local. Damn again! I'll have it next week (sigh)

If you only play your own material, you don't have to learn songs you don't like... usually. :)

I like my adaptation of the NRBQ challenge. Write your request on a $20 bill. If I can play it, I keep it. If I can't you get your money back. Feel Lucky? Well, do ya punk?
