Bruce, before purchasing from stew mac, I thought I would give folks here a try.

If they are real wood I would need 6, it they are the plastic, I would take what you have off your hands. One of the original (plastic) buttons blew out on my Fudd.

Unless the tuners have gold or chorme knobs, I think they are made of plastic, which would include the ivroid and black buttons.

What did you guys think they were made of?

the '97 Collectors' had plastic, then replaced with ebony by the factory.

as to the U681T, had never even thought about it (or cared)
