IN 1975 I BOUGHT A NEW 12 STRING PACEMAKER. I TRIED IT ONCE, SO IT IS IN BRAND NEW CONDITION. I TOOK IT OUT LAST WEEK FOR THE FIRST TIME AND HAD OVATION UPDATE THE PREAMP SO THAT IT HAS VOLUME AND TONE CONTROLS.
I WOULD LIKE TO SELL IT OR TRADE IT FOR A LEGEND OR CUSTOM BALLADEER IN EXCELLANT CONDITION.

This guitar has been sitting in it's case for 29 years?

(I think Waskel might have lost a couple years in the late 70's...) :D

Excuse me. 31 years.

The point was, he buys it new, plays it once and puts it away.
...then all of a sudden, 31 years later, he takes it out and has the Factory upgrade the preamp?

Sorry, Waskel. Just the numbers guy in me being obnoxious.

Yes, it's puzzling at the very least. Not unheard of but definitely calls for more details. :D

NP, Weas... I did lose a couple, but it was mid-70's. I think.
