I saw this on E-Bay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ovation-Custom-Legend-Acoustic-Guitar-w-Case-St...
Seller says it's an 1119. I thought the 1119 Custom Legend had truss rod access at the head stock, thus the nice wooden truss rod cover. Also, I looked really carefully and it doesn't appear this guitar has the gold foil label. Looks like the blue and white '80's label, I could be wrong though.

It's a Custom Legend. The later years used the k-bar neck instead of the traditional truss rod neck, hence no truss rod cover. Neck adjustment is from inside the bowl. They also went away from the foil labels and started using the paper ones. This looks like a nice guitar. Dave

Thank's for clarification Dave. When did they discontinue using the 1119 model number?

This does look like it would be a good deal if the price stays reasonable. I like the electronically-generated voice narrative idea. That way even a visually impaired person could now shop on Ebay. The only problem would be if were actually a dog. I guess what I should have said is that now even the visually impaired can be taken on Ebay.

It was kind of annoying when everyone else was in bed and the volume was way up.

Kind of reminds me of the computer on "2001 A Space Odyssey" "Hello, Dave" What was it's name? HAL, or something? Kind of annoying actually, I hope it's not the new eBay trend.

I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over.

Threads that start out discussing one thing then gradually head in a totally different direction.

Dave, just in case you're still wondering, Google this phrase:
"Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye."

Its like this:

Man moves ahead when he uses tools exterior source provided).
Man moves to the point when he is no longer in control of his tools.
Man regains control using the simplest of tools.
Man goes to next step (exterior source provided).

Now go play your tools!
