I'd like to sell my Ovation Balladeer, model #1122. This model was made only between 1972 and 1978 and sold for about $285. [*]for sale: Balladeer #112 from the 70's [LIST] I bought used in 1976 or so. Has nylon strings and natural finish. In excellent condition, except that a portion of the "leg grip" is loose. Comes with a hard, fitted case. Price? Make an offer. [LIST]

What'd be a good suggested price for a guitar such as this? (just wondering).

It's an Artist Classical, which is kind of a cool guitar. Not that common (maybe for good reason) and slightly shallower bowl than a regular classical. Unfortunately being acoustic only probably detracts from the value. I'd guess $200. +/- $100. The Price Police would know for sure. Dave

Nylons aren't particularly my thing, and I guess without a pre-amp, this isn't the best choice for a first Ovation.

Thanks for the help Dave.

BakPakr,

Where are you from? This sounds like a nice instrument to have around.

I PM'ed yesterday but haven't heard back yet. Might fit the bill for my daughter.
