I'd guess Repetitive Strain Injuries.. i.e. carpal tunnel syndrome, bursitis, tendinitis, etc.

Why would he sell these? Seems really odd to me for some reason. Really, i can't fathom what would possess him to put them on Ebay -- just plain weird if you ask me.

many guitarists are not collectors. if they don't use an instrument they sell it.

thinko of it this way. how many classical musicians own more that their main instrument and a backup? few.

guitarists are a stranger lot of folks.

If I don't use 'em I have to sell them. I wish I had the room, but I don't. If they don't work (in the sense of "going to work") they gotta go and someone else can use 'em. Right now I have three guitars: My Adamas, Country Artist and OSP-1 electric papoose. I'm making a Warmoth tele.

In a sense I view my guitars like horses, they are happy working, and being properly taken care of, if I have too many they will suffer. Like any machine, they were meant to be used.
That is your buddhist thought for the day. Thank you.

Couldn't agree more. Use it or move it. Guitars hate doing nothing. If that wasn't true they would improve hanging on a wall/sitting in a case. And we all know they don't.

Your zen thought for the day. Thank you.

Why???? If you want to reach the largest amount of people possible and get the best price, where else would you go? Certainly not local or the papers. Despite its faults, ebay is still a great clearing house to buy and sell gear.

exactly e bay is the great equalizer. It is international and cuts through much of the BS of selling an item. some days you get crazy money, some days you can't sell anything.
I can't figure it out

I got several on a 1537 I tried to buy, back when I was first with the OFC. I was really disappointed that they weren't real, until I got a better one from Noah.
