I don't have a Voyager, but I do have an Ovation Celebrity CS-212, which is a 3/4 size. The later version of this guitar was known as the Trekker, without the electronics. It looks like a mini Elite, and it sound great plugged or unplugged. Let me know if your interested.

Now I'm looking for two of these. The guy I'm taking lessons from had one of these stolen from his work a few years ago. He loved having the thing for lunch breaks just to get in a little practice.

Anyway... If I can find one of these for in the $100 range, I want to give him one for Christmas. I've had three lessons with the guy now, and my 30 minute lessons wind up turning into 90 minutes every time. (He obviously thinks I need the work... LOL) It would be really fun to replace his "ladle" (that's what he called it)
If anybody can help me track these down, I'd sure appreciate it. |

About the balloons... During the last year of hell with my daughter and worrying about my baby grand daughter being in a risky environment, I was tinkering with different things to try to keep at least a small level of joy in my life.
I tried a few new hobbies - of which balloon twisting was just one. (I thought it would add to my efforts of being the coolest grandma in my grandbabe's eyes!)
There is something about twanking balloons around that does help relieve stress. (maybe all the squeaking and the anxiety of wondering when the next balloon :::pop::: is going to happen replaces real life concerns, eh?)
Anyway... I have a favorite restaurant that I go to frequently here at night after work ... and once in a while I bring my busking bag o' balloons in there and make some animals for the kids and old folks - just for fun. I think I've spent about $100 on balloons and I've been tipped about $3. LOL But I'm not working the tables... I usually am just sitting back with friends and the waitresses get the balloon animals from me to give to their tables.
I keep thinking I really should apply myself a little more and do a Sunday morning gig at some pancake house or something with the balloons... but no red noses and big feet for me!
The balloons are fun... but getting back to the guitar really is a healing thing on my soul these days. |

Location: Hicksville, NY | Dunno why but after seeing the picture of that voyager, it reminds me of the travel guitar made by Washburn, known as the Rover. In my case, the first time I saw the Rover's picture was on an LLBean catalog, as opposed to one coming from a music store or an on-line music retailer. |
