For those of you that love the Adamas Longneck but due to its rarity cannot find one for sale, here is a guitar you might be interested in:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&item=110005405...

It is my personal auction and I would be glad to answer any questions for OFC members!

Thanks!

That looks meaner than a junkyard dog, to borrow a line from the Man.

Are the two pickups wired together through the preamp or do they come out separately?

I am in Seattle if anyone wants to play it.

The pickups both go to the preamp. There is a stereo/mono switch...in mono mode the piezo and magnetic pickups can be blended on the preamp. In stereo mode you can use a stereo cable to send them to different sources/amps/preamps/etc.

That is so ugly, I think I might love it.

Woody...you should drive over to Seattle and play it.

I don't know about ugly but it definately is unusual looking. The offset soundholes make it look like a dobro without the resonator or like a hawaiian slack key guitar (like Keola Beamer's Grimes guitar...VERY expensive!) Some people may like the look...some may hate it...but the TONE........!!!!

Woody is welcome to drive to Seattle to play it!

I am selling it and a few other guitars and amps because I have recently purchased a house and am expecting my first child (a daughter!) in a few months.

I was originally in the hunt for an Adamas Longneck after coming across a video of Preston Reed playing "Slap Funk" on his. I searched forever and the opportunity to buy this guitar came before any Adamas Longnecks became available to me. I wish I didn't need to sell it but someone will be getting a very rare and amazing guitar!

Congrats on the new house and being a Daddy!!

As I said in another post. These Don't Suck!! I had no Idea anyone considered making a CA "long-neck". I bet being 12 to the body makes it feel almost like a standard scale 14 fret to play. Somone should buy it and bring it to the NWOFC get together...
