Hoping someone can help me locate a neck and pickguard for a breadwinner that had a great fall.

Thanx in advance.

Do a search for Miles and email him about the neck.

I remanufacture some custom PGs if you want. Others may have something to toss in too.

Hi Rolo

I have a new original pickguard from Kaman which I do not use. It is white. I give it to you for the same price I payed, US$ 50.--. I will take over the shipping from switzerland to usa. Paypal possible. Interested?

Nice to have you on board!

It is for the small pickups like Viper and Preacher. That is why I cannot use it. My Breadwinner has the old and larger pickups.

Woody - I saw the pictures in your album - the pickguards are beautiful! I'll be looking for one for the Preacher that I am hoping to restore/customize. What does a poor slob have to do to obtain one of the masterpieces?

I have a flamed Koa and a Cherry for the Preacher. I have a couple of different veneers as well. Send me a picture or two and and we'll see what goes with it and your taste.

Generally about $30 plus shipping costs. I am still a for fun Hobbyist.

Woody - I'll try to get a few pictures soon. The guitar is already in pieces - neck, body, and a box full of parts. I was originally considering trying to restore it (original pickups, pickguard, etc.) but after trying to locate the original parts and seeing some of the customized guitars I would rather go the customization route. The neck has a crack up near the head - I'm not sure how bad - and alot of dings on the body. It should be a fun project.

Thanks for your help.

Most Breadwinner guards that I have seen are quite a bit larger like the dots show on this picture....Perhaps someone knows why that is?

I am also looking for some touch-up black hi-gloss Ovation Lacquor in order to repair the huge dings in the lower body portion. Hope someone could advise me on this.

Thanx all again

Bad news, Ovation didn't use Lacquer. It is a Poly euro epoxy and it is tough as a bowling ball but once cracked nearly impossible to patch.

Super glue or inlay epoxy for larger sections but it won't be perfect.

The smaller PGs came later. I think once the Limited came out they switched to the one smaller size.

Then...
