Location: Hayes, Virginia | Since the Ebay market for Ovations is soft right now and there was some interest in cedar elites on the board a while ago. I thought I would put my guitar up for trade.
What I am looking to trade: A cedar topped 6868 (SS bowl, op 24 preamp). The 6868 is in used and playable condition. It has some fixed cracks on the top which are hard to see unless up close, and a small ding near the binding. It sounds great and plays well. Fret wear is minimal. It has its original case. Pictures are in my OFC gallery.
What I am looking for: A USA made ovation 12 string. I am rather open on model but I want at least a Mid-Depth bowl (A deep bowl model would be better). My ideal would be acoustic only pacemaker. I don’t care about electronics since I won’t be plugging in. I want one in used but decent shape with no major cracks or the body separating from the bowl. This will be a porch/Campfire guitar so it doesn’t have to be a beauty queen but must be playable with good tone.
I will also accept cash offers.
