Location: New Hartford, CT, USA | Hi!
This Adamas II has a black textured surface with gold speckle, no cutaway. I purchased it used in 1984 from a young lady on Melrose in LA. My inexpert rating is - very good condition - there is some scuffing on the back and a couple of minor nicks on the top edge of the crest on the headstock. An Ovation hard shell case comes with it. My neighbor Kim Keller has identfied it as...
'a 1681-NB5 Adamas II with the stereo preamp, which would date it to probably 1982' and worth at least $1000 USD
I will sell for a minimum $1,000 USD - However, if there are multiple offers I would sell to the highest. I am a private owner, not a dealer.
It *might* be possible that Kim is willing to deliver it to the NJ OFC shindig he is attending this coming weekend. Kim is *not involved in any way* in this transaction other than helping me out. I don't have a url for the images but will be glad to send them to you via email.
I am selling because nowadays I use primarily nylon string classical technique and also the deep bowl design conflicts with my deep bowl beer belly.
sunshine,
mark

Location: Phoenix AZ | Ah, come on ChoroLobo, you're really Kim aren't you. Nice try. We can see throught this. The inability to post pictures or get a url to work is the dead giveaway. You're him, no doubt about it. You're just trying to pimp a guitar. Well it's a NICE guitar. And a VERY GOOD price. And you WILL deliver to NJ.
I think you'll have no trouble selling it.
Dave

I see that the one I'm selling is quite similar to the black 6string Adamas pictured on Tupperware's Adamas page.
I heard that John McLaughlin used to cut his picks out of tupperware. |
