I hope i'm not breaking any rules here but i came into a lot of VERY nice ovations at an estate sale and found this site while doing research. i really do love these guitars but i can't keep them all. i am posting this for anyone interested. i may be interested in trades as well. i will list the four guitars i have and i can be contacted via email if anyone is seriously interested.
1978 1651 Legend
1990 1758 12 string
1989 1868 (White top)
1988 1988P collectors Series #1023 (pewter top)
fwiw, with the exception of the 1651 these guitars are beautiful and in 'as new' condition. the 1651 has signs of fretwear but is in very good condition.
now, how about a question for the experts...what's this i am reading about john lennon playing a 1651? can anyone enlighten me with some additional info?
