Location: Anchorage, Alaska | 2005 Collectors in mint/perfect condition. Anoyone interested? I haven't played this guitar more then 5-10 hours since I got it. It's a wonderful guitar, I just have so many other "flavors" that this one pretty much sits in the closet. I take it out every couple weeks to refil the hydro unit or the change the strings every few months when I decide to play it. Any offers?

Location: Anchorage, Alaska | I haven't seen many 2005 Collectors for sale on Ebay or anywhere else to see what the market value is for these. Does anyone have an idea what they sell for these days? Always seems as there is no response if there is not a set price. Thanks for your help. |

Location: Chehalis, Washington | I saw one a couple months ago NOS in a local store, sale priced at $1299. 850 to 1000 sounds like a reasonable range for used in mint condition.
Nice guitar - perfect demonstration of the power of simplicity. Hope you find a good home for it.
Hey, if you want, I'll trade you for a very nice cherry Custom Legend... |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | My local Guitar Center has a NEW 2005-ES that has sat there for over a year now. They've reduced it to just over $700 and still cannot move it. It has $825 on it right now (the $700 was a "one-day-only" price).
It might have something to do with the fact that they keep it up in the rafters.....and the "sex appeal" of the 2005-ES is not enough to get someone to ask that it be brought down.
Seriously, I'd say that $1000 is ballpark for a clean used one. That seems to be what good used late-model Collectors' go for.
(laughing)...E. Sherman, I'm glad you were kidding about the Balladeer LX!!!! I have one, also, and, as good as it is, it is not in the same league as the 2005-ES.
