Location: Zion, Illinois | I need to get this out of the hallway. My wife has tripped over it for the last time.
It is a 12-string Elite. It had a crack in the top that I repaired and did a very nice job I might add.
I tried to refinish it, but I didn't do a good job. So problem 1 - it needs a new finish.
Problem two - the truss rod is broken so you can't straighten the neck until it gets fixed.
That being said, once in tune it is playable. It also comes with an Ovation case.
Best offer plus you pay for shipping. I'll give it a week, then its off to EBay.
Make me a decent offer and maybe you'll get an Ovation 12-string Elite for very little money. |

It is a 1858. It started out as a sunburst, but now it is black. As I said, it was and still is a project guitar. I think that someone who knows about fixing guitars can fix it up. As I said before, it is playable when tuned up. The electronics work, I just tried them out. The action is very high but it can be played below the 5th fret. I think someone can fix the truss rod and do a neck reset to make a decent guitar out of this.
It is a shallow bowl guitar
I'm looking for $150 + shipping.
I can't take pictures until this weekend. Sorry, but I just don't have the time. |
