It's not an FRG is it? That would explain a lot, although don't FRG's have a 5-year warranty anyway?

It could be a "demo" with no warranty. Then again, how did they get a demo except from the Rep...hmmm??

How convenient, don't you think.

"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing."

Hope it is a legit error and just not cold feet over the low price. Quite frankly, I am not sure the world is ready for the 2080 yet, and I would bet they will command low prices until they get a reputation (or maybe stay low).

On the selfish side, it makes me feel better that it didn't sell for way less than I paid for mine. Whew!!!!

Usually that is the reason given when they cut a side deal with someone. My guess is that they were offered offline an amount they were happy with and ran with it.

Few comments:

I didn't like the Cat's eye or the Nike swoosh either. But it DOES grow on you.

The sound is great! You should hear it on a 12-fret!

Noah....I threw a bid out for fun but as you know, I have the matching custom 2080D's on order so don't really need a third.

BMF,

I would love to hear it on a 12-fret. Why don't you ship it on up for me to listen too for a couple of months.

I even toyed with the idea of ordering one in a 12 string, but then I came to my senses and realized the reason I bought it in the first place was to have a one guitar arsenal (which means I might have to sell my 1537 to stay sincere).
