Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | As I am attempting to resurrect, yet another, decrepid critter, namely a foil-label Pacemaker; I have experienced several original equipment button failures (calm down, Uncle Sigmund) on the tuners. So, with the active aftermarket button industry for replacement pearloid & ebony versions, where do all the "original" chrome ones disappear to?
Now, admittedly, I need a new set of buttons, and I have emailed The MotherShip. I am awaiting a reply.
In the meantime, I am conjecturing there is either a conspiracy to secure the surplus chrome tabs for The War Effort, or else there are bushels of those critters spread across the planet, awaiting a "call to action", so to speak.
So, we have, at our beckon-call, qualified personnel to ferret out the facts & principal players in this situation.
We need to keep our rehabilitation technicians supplied, and keep the old critters in the fray! |

Location: Marlton, NJ | See - I bought a set on ebay that I though was for hardbodies but now I'm not so sure.. they're a little smaller than the others that I've seen and they say "Ovation" on the tuner.
Can anyone verify what these are for?

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | As The Bard said, "There's the rub...." I'm looking to replace the old, dried-up, pearl buttons with more durable chrome ones. You may be better off buying new, aftermarket plastic buttons, than chancing the viability of "experienced" ones for your Balladeer. And, you will be buying the larger size than found on the Schaller mini's of the Pacemaker. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Jason, you're a prince. I really appreciate this. I just asked John @ The MotherShip to send me some extra washers, also. He was kind enough to offer a few pearl & ebony replacements, but I think this is the better option.
