Agreed.
Usually, when I play w/MissahBeale, he alway be playin' dem big, ole SHINey things that the so-called "CullidPeeple" use t'play yeas&yeas ago . . .

I remember sittin' on Amy's deck and I was singing (with about 8-10 guitarists) AllmanBros "Mellisa".

At the "jam" at the very end, I heard some QUITE tasty stuff come outta the CelebratedMrK . . .

I was thinkin' to myself, ". . Yeah,BILL!! . ." :D

Boy, Cliff always seems to go straight for the jugular...you would think he at least start attacking by picking on something less bone chilling than Paul's ability.

Like, maybe, his shirts for instance...

When that pic was taken I was sitting just in front playing Bill's reso, which is a damn LOUD guitar, and I can tell you that particular '84C completely made me rethink my opinions on SSB guitars.

Oh yeah, and for what it's worth, Mr K has some serious chops.

I would contest that statement. I would contend that my Hawaiian shirts are not only older than both yours and Mr Moody's, but are also consideraly louder and less tasteful (Bearing in mind that the the phrase "tasteful Hawaiian Shirt" is in fact an oxymoron)

"...louder and less tasteful..."

Close, but somehow I don't think that'll sell...

Maybe it's just me but wouldn't that kinda set the bar for "least tasteful"?

Clifford, if I ever end up with a shirt like that, you'll probably have to come down to the morgue to pick it up..... but I'll make this promise to you.. whatever I die in, you can have!

Gently bringing this thread back on track, I'd just like to say that this particular 84 Collector's is now mine...

Looks like my Custom Agent is going to be put up to fund this...

It's on its way over the pond as we sit here. I can't wait!

Thanks for the votes of confidence. I wanted a solid spruce topped Ovation for the lineup, and I really love the Elite look, so this seemed an excellent idea. :) Then I read the reviews of the 84 Collectors here, and I HAD to have it! ;)

I'll post pics of both of my babies when I can persuade daughter #2 to lend me her digital camera.
