Dang. It looks like a urelite neck, too. How the heck did it get that square head?
Jason, if you have the two-bolt-type bowl on your Matrix, this should fit.

i emailed the seller, if my memory recalles correctly,the early applesauce neck,some of them has the square head,are you shure its urelite? the neckblock and fretboard look like wood(i know some urelite necks had a rosewood fretboard) if the measurements are the same on the neckbock and bolt spacing im gonna have a go at it..jason

Buyer BEWARE! ALERT! ALERT! What you see there is a damaged BUSTED neck! Gee, I say "were are the neck ears" and were did the "aluminum dove tail" go? Missing like teeth from a chicken. If Mr. Ovation has some parts I have the time. You know how to look me up.

miles,didnt some of the early applause's have a straight headstock on them with no decal?? i know for a fact that the matrix dosnt have a dove tail,just a 2 1/4 x 5/8 aluminium block,..i know because ive got 2 matrix's striped down to the bowls for my resOvation projects..jason

I really don't know. I have a Medallion (pre-Matrix). I've been thinking of replacing the neck, although the guitar has a lot of personal history as is... so maybe not.

iv'e got one of those old applesauces here somewhere,theres not much left of the bowl and the neck is warped but i belive it has a straight head and the neck attched like the matrix..damn..now thats got me wondering..ill look for it tomorow when i get the hallowween stuff out of the attic..jason

the seller finaly emailed me, its a 1 7/8 nutwidth,maple neck rosewood fingerboard...the neck block dimensions are the same as a matrix neck..jason
