Location: Upper Left USA | Here is the Jasmine S35 Dreadnaught that I got with a box of elixers a little bit ago.
It isn't a bad guitar and it would fit the Beginner/knock about category quite well. I'm sure I could go $20 shipping for my OFC family.
I think it's one of those HPL's discussed recently. |

I got one too with the string deal, picked up a "brand X" preamp and saddle transducer on ebay and installed it, and gave it to one of our students in the Sr. High worship band who was really wanting to have an acoustic to augment her "get-in" model electric. She is the daughter of missionaries and couldn't afford to get one on her own. The fit and finish is pretty good and the cheap little thing plays easy (after I set it up) really sounds OK acoustically and downright acceptable plugged in!
Master Templeman is correct (as always) - the Chinese are making some really fine instruments for the dollars involved. That makes me sad and glad at the same time ... :( |
