I'm looking for a few guitar stands and I'm open to recommendations. I think I saw a post here recently describing guitar stands that were bought for about $7.99 each or something similiar. Thanks!

Hercules. Expensive but worth it. Lost Art Vintage can get them for you at great prices.

I still have a bunch available in an old "FOR SALE" post (probably 4-5 weeks ago). Depending on the style and number you need, I could make you a good deal.

I'd either go with the cheapest you could find or the herc's. genisis aint' bad either. There ... you have three choices. There are other stands that cost more than the herc's but less value for money.

I'm with Bobby, Bill and Mike - Hercules.. period. You only have to have a stand crap out once to spend a little more for the best. Kinda like having your strap come off of a strap button... you figure out fast why Ovation puts straplock buttons on all U.S. O's

The Hercs are good, but I've always preferred the Hamilton: http://www.hamiltonstands.com/guitar/kb38.htm

Herc's & Ultimate for gigs.
I use Hamilton's in my MusicRoom as "stationary" stands.
