I have been in contact with the seller of a guitar i am absolutely craving. Price is way steep, but deservedly so. I've posted some pics of it in a couple of threads over on the the general discussion board.

Anyway, i need to raise funds from existing assets and not from new capital expenditure -- orders from the boss :)

So, at great pain here goes: I have the following guitars in the stable, all are up for sale. Some are detailed in my gallery. For the others pictures can be sent via email. PM me resonable offers. I am willing to take a bit of a loss on some of these but i do have bottom line figures in mind -- this is not a blow-em out fire sale.

All offers will be considered and replied to. CONUS only.

Adamas II 1681
1995 Collectors
1997 Collectors (1 11/16" neck)
1674 Country Artist (currently out on loan to dvd, who has first right of refusal to match your offer)
Adamas 1597
Jeff's Hamer Echotone :) j/k
Elite 1537
Legend 1869

Oh, and a Martin 000-28EC

All are in minumum 8/10 condition except the 1869 which has moderate to heavy fret wear.
Sigh -- there you have it.

Is it the guitar you posted pics of in the soundport thread?

Yep, Kent Armstrong floating "Johnny Smith" style magnetic pick-up, transducers under the bridge (bass and treble side); all pickup controls mounted on pickguard.. It's tuned to be a jazz guitar.

(Sheesh! i'm answering more questions about my dream guitar than the one's i'm selling :)

Greg,
Does the hold on the Adamas mean that your spouse has to approve or someone else's? I was still working on getting my spouse's approval.

What's weird? Being buried with the 1547? If you'd of played it you'd know why. And since your in the Portland area -- you're welcome to come by and play Jeff's Echotone, just be sure you wash you hands first :)

Seriously though, you're more than welcome to contact me and put any of these guitars through their paces -- just PM me.

As great as Greg's 1674 is, I can't afford to add it to my collection right now, so don't hold back on offers for this one just because it's on my wall.

So what's the update?

Did you sell the guitars?

Did you get the Solomon?

Well, lots of "interest". No buyers. I was going to put them up on ebay, but it's probably not the best time of year to be doing that.

The Solomon hasn't sold either -- i'm hoping it will still be available later -- who knows. But it's probably going to slip away -- DRATS!

Did you check with Norseman1? He's been looking for a 1537 in good condition.

I'll try to find my way over around Christmas. My wife just informed my that our property tax bill dropped $1000 this year. Sounds like another good excuse to buy a guitar. I'm sure she has other ideas, though.
