I am sitting in Tokyo's Narita Airport, wondering what Ovation I will buy next while visiting the states. There is a Sweetwater near my home. I am thinking about a twelve string. any suggestions? Much appreciated.

Go the whole hog - buy one of the '08 Collectors that Al is selling. I know I am! Get it while you still can. Just make sure that Al still has one in his shed with my name on it.

If you can't afford it, then let the list know what your upper limit is and I'm sure you'll get a much better range of suggestions.

Ahh narita, I'm always in transit there, either the wait is 0 minutes, just rushing from one plane to the next, or waiting 12 hours.

An ovation is an excellent choice for okinawa, given the humidity. Just got to hit some stores and see what floats your boat.

The best way to acquire an Ovation 12 string for $1000 is to find someone here who will sell one. Or Al. Either way, you'll get the most guitar for your $$.

Al is one of the founders here.
Hit this LINK

He does a lot of over-seas shipping & has a vast selection of Ovations you won't find anywhere else.
.
.
And sometimes he just likes people to call him and say hello. :)

Al Pepiak is one of the administrators of the OFC. He also runs a business Lost Art Vintage selling (among other things) some great Ovations and Adamii.

He'll make you an offer you can't refuse.
