I have an Odd-Ball Breadwinner in hi-gloss black with a guard that has shatterd due to a big fall and am looking for a replacement in black with a white edge as pictured.
Miles had one at one point but unfortunatly I waited too long....any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
Roland

If you need stock check with Miles on this board at miles@aol.com or look Here at Sunny Ledges which is the Family Store.
(Edit: you did check with Miles, oh.)
I didn't see a BW in black with smaller HBs but Miles may have something.

I like to remake the PG's and put veneer on them like this one.
There's more in the gallery.

Welcome to the board.

Hi Cwk2,
Do you think the factory can help?
And if so the number?

Thanx in advance

Rolo - I may have one that I bought from Miles. I'll have to check if it's the same one. It may be a long while before I actually use it, so why let it go to waste? I'll check tomorrow and let you know.

Mike, I'm pretty sure it's the one he's looking for.

I plan on having some more available very soon, probably by time you need one again.

Hi Mike,
My first message has a link at the bottom with a photo of the shape of my guard. It is considerably shorter than a breadwinner guard above the pickups.

I had it on my Xmas List but unfortunetly it was already sold.

Thanx in advance Mike.

Is that another gloss black breadwinner? If so, is that the original finish, rolo?

Yes it is gloss black & all original finish.
It's an odd one. I have never seen a gloss one.

Any additional info would be appreciated
the serial# is E 19179

It had a nasty fall at one point that snapped the headstock. So I'm also looking to replace the neck at some point, although the chalenge will be finding a gloss black neck.

They made some of these, towards the end of their life. The factory is 860-379-7575, call them.

The gloss blacks are rare. I've seen two, mine and the (other) one Samova used to own.
