Location: Back in the Valley of the Sun Mesa Az. | Hey Jason...how much for a neck reset on a CC255 (shallowbowl 12 string). I bought one about three four years ago that was in "mint-ebay" condition...looked great, sounded great, but the truss rod was cranked until the brace cracked, and still quite the high action. My local repair guy said he doesn't do neck-resets but that it needed one. I called Ovation, but they said they don't work on the Celebs.
I down tune a step, capo up and manage (as she does sound absolutley great plugged in), but the action is critical! Oh, and the bridge bolts were loose that allowed the bridge to raise slightly...I tighened them and it hasn't moved since.
