I've been eye-ballin' that one too. I wonder how the sound compares to my custom legend 12?

There's no doubt that the deep bowl kicks butt. It really brings out the bass that is usually covered up in the 12-string sound.

I love my 1758.

A black one just sold on ebay for $561.

There is a Black 1759 on ebay now starting a $500.

I'm sure they would both sound great. As to which one would be better would depend largely on an individuals own taste.

Wow, tough market these days, it ended with no bids...(I had an FRG 1758 once, paid $700...never could find any flaw or blemish...quality control must be tight at the factory!)

Hasn't relisted yet, must be tough to sell such a serious O' 12-string for cheap. I've never played another 12 that could compete with the 1758...
