I'm assuming that's a DS-768?...but what is the '1832 reissue' all about?

Very similar to mine ... maybe it's the picture but mine is a lot more red (cherry cherry burst). Maye this one is the BCB. They ought to run a polish cloth on the soundboard before they take the pictures.

first digit: Always 1
Second digit: 8 = Shallow bowl

That's interesting, I didn't know the ds768 was ever made in a shallow bowl, thought that was the current ds778 model...I think the '1832' number was something else besides the model # or serial#...
