That's a nice guitar!!
I'll give him $330 for it.

I don't know about the $89 case...
(Dude, if you've got a case, throw it in!
Don't be so cheap!)

I think they do not call it a reissue. It is a "new" serial model. You can get a brandnew 1717 or 1718 without the "LX Goodies" for quite a reasonable price. I, not being a Fan of the LX sound, am convinced this must be a wonderful guitar. And if they have the same quality that the reissues have, in my eyes they are some of the best guitars Ovation offers these days.

I always heard the natural ones sounded better. But, yes that is good news that they have new 1718's. I looked at the O' website, didn't see a 1717. Wish they would re-issue the 1768's...

1718's are still in production, but not available in natural..

for one of those, you need to call Al, and have one special ordered.

still a bargain.

A couple of years ago, Ovation started offering the "Traditional" Ovations (they put out a catalog regarding them), whereby your could buy tradional Elites, Legends, and Balladeers, with more modern electronics. I would guess that they are special order instruments.....

Thanks to Kurt and moody for the new information. That 1717 is nice. Perhaps Ovation has realized the market for old-timers like me who liked them the way they were..(now if they would just re-issue the 1547.. :) )

Yeah, and I was watching this one too, but it didn't sell... The other 1718
I know that E-baaa is a strange place. But any opinions on why this didn't sell?
And this one had a case.
(I couldn't afford it, plus I bought something else)
