Before the Fender Signature "Clapton" models and Lace Sensor pickups, Fender made for 2-3 years an "Elite" model. This is a 1983, Black, maple neck/fretboard, 3 active pickups with mid-boost, 3 mini push on/off buttons. Pickguard was a one ply homemade black one when I got it. I had "Pickguardian" in Ohio make me a Fender w/b/w repro for $50. Other than the pickguard and missing trem arm, the guitar is in excellent shape with very little fret wear and no dings to the body. OHSC. $800 + actual shipping. If near NE PA I will meet you 1/2 way. (PA, NJ, NY, CT)

Nice gutar, post a pic. I love mine, and wouldn't part with it for what they go for these days. It used to have a 'Crimson Burst' (read red see-thru) finish on a mahogany body. It weighed a ton (like a L.P.), so I swapped it out for a more back friendly white version of I dont know what -ash, or alder or whatever they made them from. There's a pic in the gallery.

Thank you, I know I should just put away out of sight because the value just keeps going up but I have made too many purchases lately of some nice Collectors Ovations and need to replenish some funds. I have been meaning to get some pics in the Gallery and will try soon to do that.
