I am finding that I am more comfortable and play better on wider necked guitars, and am predominately playing the classicals and 12 strings and feel clumsy on the narrower necks..

this is a beautiful Craftsman Elite, and I believe the reason it was stamped used is because of a bridge relocation.. I am having Howie do a full inspection tomorrow to make sure there are no other issues with the guitar, this one was apparently caught and corrected at the factory but with 2 extra holes (filled)..and unseen from the front... couldn't give it a frg.

Beautiful Dark Walnutburst deep bowl with tons of Abalone everywhere, abalone bound rosewood fretboard, maple elite inlays, walnut bridge, has new set of pearloid schaller buttons, and will include the original gold buttons. new preamp frame/bezel. Deluxe Plywood TKL case included.. I have a little over 800 in this one
OFC price.. and you won't be disappointed.no dings dimples, warps, scratches, or dents on this one... just a little pick swirl.. and it glitters nicely.and it sounds and plays beautifully.

what I would like in trade is a 1614,FD14, or Country Artist (steel string guitar) with either a 1"7/8 or 2" neckwidth deep or mid bowl....
the nicer the better of course... but just thought I'd throw it out here and see if anyone's interested in a trade...

The Nakao is beautiful and rare, plays nicely, even if it is not an frg or 1st run guitar. and I'd really like to have a steel strung slothead.

I'll post links to pics if anyone's interested.

Thanks,

Glenn

Jim made a nice offer of his 1115, but I have 3 12s already... but thanks, I am looking for a 1614, fd14, 1624 or 1674 steel strung 6 wideneck or a 97w parlor. or an elite wideneck.

still searching.

Boy Glen, I just sold my 1614 that was in pristine shape. I would have traded in an instant. It's funny, at first I loved the wider neck, then I got the 97 narrow neck, and I've really taken to the narrower style.

mulling over a well-ridden but nice 68 Josh White as a trade... waiting on more photos and info...

anyone else interested in swapping a wide neck steel string for this?

What you got?

Thanks,

Glenn

Glenn,

I'll keep a watch here and I hope that someone gets you what you're looking for. I don't have anything that fits what you're looking for, but, believe it or not, I have two of these already and would consider buying a third. I have an, absolute twin that's been my mainstay instrument for 10+ years, and I have a natural finish one that I found a couple years ago. If this is an unsuccessful pursuit, I'd be glad to talk about a sale instead.

Best of luck,
Steve McCoy (the last of the Japanese-Irish)

well... Mr. Mcoy, it just so happens there's a member who's interested in selling me a FUD.. and he's not interested in a trade... but if you're willing to buy, I'm sure we can all come to a nice agreement.

check your pms.. and disregard the one sitting there from me.. Rick is trying to get a hold of you.

Thanks,

Glenn

and if Mr Mcoy is not interested... The Craftsman is available for $825 shipped/insured conus. $805 if you just want one of the sets of tuner buttons, your choice original gold or pearloid.

Guys,

I ended up on business travel last night and am a little internet-impaired in somebody else's office for most of the day... I'll get to the PMs this evening and get back with you guys.
.........and you can drop that "Mr." stuff and call me Steve or "TR".........

Thanks.

The Craftsman is now available for $800 shipped conus... with both sets of tuner buttons and TKL deluxe hardcase.

I'd really like to get the FD14 that I've been offered to buy... I even get an old case of mine back with it.

Thanks,

Glenn

well definitely looks like it's not a good time for selling O's

wish I was in a buying mode tho.

still available $800 shipped/insured conus which is less than I paid.

guess I'm gonna have to sell it overseas.
