Joined: July 2007 Posts: 325 Location: Texas | Hey Kurt - that is a 1981 Adamas II 1681-8 that I have- no carved headstock or bridge - one of the first Adamas II's yes the Adamas I 1687-9 would be the type I would like - more affordable that the original slot head - even though you never see the slot heads for sale - just some very nice pics | ||

To be true, it took a long time for me to get used to those carved headstocks. Then I got my #47 - and fell in love with it. And the 1687-9 shown on the pictures is probably the one guitar in my collection that I am the most happy about. Absolutely gorgeous and nearly factoryfresh. I know Al has some Adamas I listed.
