I need to meet Michael for lunch one of these days anyway. Seriously, you won't have a problem with Michael. He's a bit unscrutable, but a good guy.....

I have sent her an email indicating that I would stop the auction and sell her the BalladeerLX for what I paid for it. The Elite 6778LX might be out of her price range. Regards, Tom

I had just read her thread, then read yours. Also, You can stop an auction? I didn't know! When I had that CS257 that needed the neck re-attached, I had posted it on eBarf... Then the directions were posted on how to fix it. But since it was listed, I just figured that I had to go through with it...  Oh well... Live and Learn. [BTW I sent the directions for the repair to the buyer, with pictures. He was happy]

Go to your Ebay - click on selling items - look for the one you are selling - over to the right - there is a click down bar - it will give you options to stop the auction - I see many people doing it and you know that they have made a deal outside of ebay. Choose your reason carefully - one of the favorites - item is lost or damaged lol

Even if folks have already started bidding on the item? (They don't have a choice for "Seller's Remorse?") I am gitting ready to thin the herd. Make some room in my room, pay for the 1115 rebuild. I now return y'all to the previous topic...

I seldom do stop the auction but its good to put the clause in any way.Its perfectly legal and many music stores do this because an item may sell locally before the auction ends. Regards, Tom

Despite popular belief , I actually do sell off some guitars. The problem is that when I do, sometimes I end up buying more than I sell even though my original intentions are to finance what I've already bought or am planning on buying; its a sickness; I know I need help and I promise to get it right after I finish the purchase of the 1688-8 and the PRS Archtop II that I just committed to buy. I was on the computer creating a listing, and I was playing my Stellar 12 string, and comparing past listing, and... I ended-up buying another 12-string! Just to tide me over... Y'know? Kinda defeats the purpose, huh?
