Location: South of most, North of few | I have acquired a new Fender telecaster 72 reissue thinline. As new without a mark of any kind on it. They sell discounted at AMS for 699.99, I would like to get 550.00 out of this one + shipping. Beautiful burst. All original paperwork along with reg card. Deluxe Fender gig bag included. I've found out I'm not cut out for the electric scene. (too old and brittle)

Yeah, amplified with no distortion I can hear ALL my mistakes.
Oh! 'scuze me! thinking out loud
But that is a real nice guitar, 'specially if it plays as good as it looks! |

Location: South of most, North of few | Randy, no it's a Mex. which I hear is as good as the US ones now. And Arthur, yes it does play that good. Somehow, when you put 9's on a skinny neck, it just seems too easy to play. You can almost bend the high E a half octave... ;) |

Is that a tilt back neck? |

Location: South of most, North of few | Couldn't tell you if it's swamp ash or what. The neck has some kind of adjustment in the three screws for attachment, but I don't know much about that either. This is kind of an alien thing to me as I've only played acoustic. Anyhow, I think our very own Lanaki is going to pick it up. Sale pending. |

Location: Houston, Texas | It's the three bolt neck that Fender used in the seventies. They call it a "Micro-Tilt" neck. Loosen the three bolts slightly and a set screw and metal plates allows you to make minor adjustments in the tilt of the neck. The great thing about these guitars is that absolutely everything is adjustable, so you don't have to worry about buying a guitar with a bad setup. You can always get it set up just perfectly. Some people don't like the three bolt necks, but I've never had any complaints with mine.
Thanks for the offer Jim, sorry I couldn't swing it. |
