Actually I've been watching this one. Only 1 day left, no reserve, and at a ridiculously low price. I'm sure it'll go much higher in the last minutes.

(Like I could get another guitar right now  )

Right, model number is the same. But there is a small but important difference. Take a close look to the binding. The very early Adamas II guitars didn't have a suspended top ring but a cheap plastic ring . To my knowledge they tried to make the Adamas II less expensive but the solution didn't prove one's worth. So they soon (between s/n 1500 and 2000) switched to the suspended top ring know from the Adamas I model.

The plastic ring models are very rare (I'm happy to own one) so they are of value for a real collector. But if you prefer quality choose the suspended ring model (you also get a deeper bowl with it!).

hankster,
$1250 or less would be an excellent value. it is a buyer's market currently so it probably won't go over $1500. butchaneverknow.

This is the first time I have ever opened a feePay sale link and thought "Midwest, US" that's close to me, then looked at the picture and thought, "That looks like my floor. I have a 1681 two-knob like that." (brief pause; neurons fire) "My wife has been using that digital camera a lot lately." (momentary panic) And then remembered that I *just* saw it on the stand in the bedroom.

And our flooring isn't quite like that.

And mine is still on the stand.

But, she has been taking a lot of pictures.

And screwing around with Photoshop.

Hrmmm.

Not a bad price then, $1077. Look for my 87 Collector edn to be relisted here - probably at a lower price.
