| I have an Ovation Viper Solid Body Electric(Steel Grey, E18934). I am thinking of selling it, but wondered if there is any interest out there. I don't trust anyone at the local "stores" as I know they just want to scoop it up for a cheap price and resell it. I want to find someone who really appreciates this type of guitar and will treat it as it deserves. I was directed to this site by a friend.
Let me know your thoughts. (Remember I am only thinking of selling......not sure yet)

Market value today on Ebay for a Viper with case plus $40 shipping is between $300 and $500 depending on condition, specialty features like wood grain and overall gotta-have-it-ability to Buyers.
I'll give you $300 and I can coach you on how to get a bit more on ebay but the truth is that they are WORTH a lot more and that they are under-loved for what they can do.
Objectively - that one is a later model with the Polane paint and is not as desirable as the clear finished Mahogany units.
If you decide to sell or trade talk to us. |

| I have other photos of the Viper, I just put a couple up to show what I had. The story with the guitar is this.......my father worked for Kaman until a few years ago, he recieved special offers on certain guitars now and then. He has 4 children so got 4 different guitars, this one is mine. I never learned how to play. A friend used it for about 7 or 8 months so there are minor scratches on the back from his belt buckle and one small knick in the back of the neck (I do have pictures that would show them)
As far as anything else about the guitar, it is not being used, which is a shame but I don't play....soooo
Thanks for your input and thoughts, I appreciate it. If anyone wants to see more photos let me know, or of you have any more thoughts I always welcome the comments.

If you are in the East coast area have Alpep sell it for you. He may trade you a late model Ford Pickup Truck! :D |
