I’m looking to sell my pristine 2002 Collector’s Edition. There’s not a thing wrong with this instrument. It is absolutely stunning in appearance and sound! Beautiful, flawless Figured African Cherry for the top…mid-depth body…tasteful, understated ebony fret-board with mother-of-pearl inlay on the 12th fret…Gold Ovation tuners…the nut is 1 11/16”…and the neck plays faster than most electrics…fantastic sounding Ovation Tru-Balance pickup and OP-40 Pre-amp with built-in tuner. The only unusual thing about it is the case; I bought it used and this is the case that came with it. But it's still a hardshell case that is holding up just fine. I'll ship it in the continental US for $850. Let me know what you think. ![]()

I just wanted to get the bidding going. I wound up getting it (much to my wife's chagrin). Nobody else went for it because it was right after Christmas. Be patient. John <>{

It could turn out the photos were niftily photoshopped and its actually two different sized planks of wood nailed together and lashed over with an old tarbrush, but I have to admit to sensing a good bit of trust in the seller. In fact everyone on here seems dead friendly & genuine. Now the hard part. Tell the missus.

Not tried it plugged in yet, but she sounds lovely au natural. The intonation is spot on all the way up to the top and the action is slicker than a slick thing. As is usually the case, the pictures dont do it any justice whatsoever. When the sun hits the top the rippling is lustrous and simply gorgeous, not that theres too much sun about here in the UK at the moment :-( The neck shape is definately where I want to be at the moment. Ive spent many years with a lovely Lowden 023, but compared to the 2002, the neck is torture. The lowden is a better fingerpicker and full open sounding guitar, but playing it for an hour solid is hard work. Even the missus is impressed. Result! Anyways up, a big thanks to Patch for his excellent communications. It was a pleasure doing business with you my friend. Thanks OFC. Bonz

As soon as I know my domain is secure, I'm transferring it to another host. Definitely been a pain. I have no idea who's been trying to contact me and no way to let them know what the problem is unless they call me or something.
