Unless you are sold on the 000 body size, you should also check out the HD28VS....it is a much better sounding guitar than the regular HD28 series. Slotted headstock, 12 frets to the body, vintage bracing, sounds even and smooth across the strings. Excellent for strumming, picking, or finger style.

It was a shamless plug, but what Stephen says is true. The HD28VS (and even the mahog D18VS) are wonderful guitars. Certainly among the best that I've owned.

Well, the OM-28V is coming to a great home where it will garner a lot of attention and play time. I also want to take a minute and say a big thank you to Dave for holding this for me while some crazy financing was arranged (Paul, yes, the churches took up an offering Sunday: but I was in Amelia in the AM and driving home for the rest of the day).
Seriously, Dave could have said no and sold the guitar several times perhaps but he knew it would be a great pair with the 48 D-28 and so he worked it out! For all the stuff he endures, he's a fine friend and a serious guitar guy! I'm thrilled to have this fine Martin coming to SW VA! Thanks Dave!
