Howdy: My first thread on this forum. Good to see another group of people on another guitar forum having a good time with music.

I'm selling this guitar for a couple reasons. The first is that I've continued falling in love with a recently purchased OM-12 by Timberline. The second reason is I can't get used to the bowl-shaped back.

I've never been much for Ovation guitars because I just didn't care for the voices. I acquired this one on a trade because of its "woody" sound. I tried not to like its tone. But, in all honesty, it does sound every bit like an all-wood guitar. I was very much surprised!

I've owned many twelve strings over the years. Gibson (B45 & 25), Guild F112, Martin D35-12, 0000-AG, a Taylor 454ce. . .even an Alvarez-Yairi WY-1-12. Some I shouldn't have sold.

The last couple years I've taken a liking to smaller guitars. Currently I have a Larrivee OM-03R twelve and the Timberline I've just acquired. I won't need another twelve string for a LONGGGGGG time.

I'm wanting to sell this guitar to someone on this forum who will appreciate owning it. Not a thing wrong with the guitar.

We can discuss payment options. $725 and we can split the shipping.

Thanks for any comments.

Welcome Jack. From the looks of those clouds around the case, you better put it inside before it rains. :D

Well. It sold. A guy stumbled upon my ebay auction after it closed and made an offer of $725: close enough for me.

Thanks to this forum for allowing me to post this here.
