Hi folks,

I can’t believe I stumbled across another one of these, but here it is; another 1996 Collectors-30th Anniversary. The guitar is great shape for 12 years old. It plays like a dream and the intonation is perfect. It also has the magical mystery finish…it’s actually deep burgundy colored, but it looks completely different in different lights, shifting from black through burgundy to dark maroon and back again. Frankly, this finish is a BEAR to photograph, and my pictures do not do it justice. For those of you into tasteful bling, it has mother of pearl binding around the soundboard and the neck and an MOP oakleaf soundhole rosette, but it really isn’t in your face like some others because of the dark finish. By sheer luck, I managed to show how the proper lighting (or improper lighting for photography anyway) sets off the brilliance of the mother of pearl. It also comes with the Hex FX pre-amp. Other details include a solid sitka spruce top, ebony neck, gold tuners with pearloid buttons, 25 ¼” scale length, 1 11/16” nutwidth, and MOP 12th fret inlay. It has one ding in the lower bout that your arm would cover whenever you play. It isn’t large. I’ve shown the nearby clasp of the case to provide scale. It has a little bit of bridge bubble as well, but I would not have seen it if I had not felt it first. And finally, the fretboard could use a little cleaning. I’m asking $825 shipped in the continental U. S. International members will definitely want to check with me about shipping first. It comes with its H/S case, which shows some scuffing but is otherwise in great shape. Now for the interesting part: I also have a 2000 Collector’s for sale on another thread. I'm asking $895 for that one. Here’s a link to the thread:

2000 Collector\'s

If anyone is interested in getting both, I’ll ship them for $1595. That's right, both to you door for under $1600!

Feel free to ask questions and leave opinions. Thanks for looking everyone!

Here are some more pictures. And don't forget, you can get both of my Collector's series for the price of one Adamas.

Our 30th Anniversary was last year. I played it for the Ute (30th anniversary Adamas), the 30th Custom Legend and the OFC guitar. (The OFC didn't really fit the theme, but I played it at our Anniversary party.) I think I milked that 30th Anniversary for all it's worth. Somebody else pick up this one.

The auctions for both of my Collector's series end today, and neither is doing very well. If anyone here is interested, this might be your chance to get a great guitar for a thief's discount. Frankly, I'd much rather an OFCer got it for cheap than a stranger.
