Location: Phoenix AZ | GC 1627 reissue on ebay. In my opinion one of the very finest wood toppers that Ovation has ever produced. These are hard to come by. I don't know the seller, but it looks like a really nice deal.

Location: SoCal | Dave's right. These guitars will remind you of why you fell in love with a wood topped Ovation. And the redesigned stacked knob preamp is killer plugged in.
Somebody here should pick up on this. There weren't that many of these built and they don't come around very often..... |

These are truly special guitars in every sense.Had mine for nearly a year and have used it on maybe 100 gigs.
It's light with a dynamic acoustic tone and the vol/tone preamp sounds very natural.
The old style cloth bowls definately sound better. |
