Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out what my Ovation Legend might be worth. It's a 1977 model 1117-1. I have had the guitar since new and it is in great shape though the hard case shows some wear.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

31 year old 1117 Legend in great shape, original owner, case wear suggesting lots of good memories? Priceless.

I can't argue with that. It got me through a lot of great years!

The 'why' is good to know ... ie do you want to sell or do you want to insure? Those are two totally different numbers and we'd probably give you two different avenues to explore and set your expectations accordingly.

Check ebay's completed listings to see what they've gone for.
